Chesterfield County Public Schools are proposing a plan to build in 9 early release days so teachers can have more staff development time. According to reports, children would "get out of classes the third Wednesday of every month" excluding the months of May and December.
This is a concern to many parents who would have to find childcare for those days their children would not be in school.
