As a Realtor, one of the most often asked questions is "so, how are the schools?" This is a tough question for us in the real estate business as the answer is subjective. My opinion of a school doesn't mean that another person will share the same sentiments. And since buyers are relying on our expertise, they would most likely hold our opinion as fact. In order to keep this from happening, we are not allowed to comment on schools. But, we can point you to information for you to make your own opinion and decision.
In the most recent Richmond Magazine Sourcebook 2011, Brent Merritt and Gloria Oh collected some statistics on local Richmond area high schools, including: Henrico County Public Schools, Chesterfield County Public Schools, Hanover County Public Schools, Goochland County Public Schools, and more! How did your school do? Now on Newsstands: pick up your copy of the Richmond Magazine Sourcebook 2011 today! Or, call me at 804-248-8207, and I would be happy to email you a copy of mine!
Looking for more information on Richmond area public schools? I recommend GreatSchools.org, asking potential neighbors, or even going to a PTA meeting of a school your child may be attending!
