Things to do in Richmond: Karaoke

I can not sing. Period. It's rather sad too because my father, aunts, and grandmother are all terrific singers. For as long as I can remember I have loved to sing and now really understand the definition of unconditional love as my family never had the heart to break it to me just how terrible I really am! (I just MAY have been the inspiration to the American Idol tryouts! HA!)

How about you? Can you belt out a tune like Mariah? Like Whitney? How about just Britney? No matter! If you love to sing, then here is your chance to do it in the RVA!

Tomorrow, April 12th, Weezie's Kitchen on Cary Street will be hosting Karaoke night with Katie of Nard's Professional DJ Service. Singing will begin at 9:30p.m. and admission is free!

Sticky Rice, on West Main Street, will also be hosting a Karaoke night tomorrow with Nard's Professional DJ Service and has the proud distinction of being named the 2010 Best Place for Karaoke by Richmond Magazine! The singing begins at 10:30p.m. and admission is also FREE!

So head on out for a night of fun and try not to make fun of those who just don't realize how bad they really are! (Who cares, right?  As long as they are having FUN!)
